The Universe as a computer system

What if we are a part of a complex system like the computer which has a specific purpose known by the engineer himself only. Like the hard disk of my computer doesn’t know what is it doing or what’s the purpose of the files I save, only I know that. Yet the hard disk does it’s job without a question. May be we live in a place like the hard disk, like the files, each file has a specific purpose. Once the purpose is served the files are deleted. We also have a purpose and we have to serve it and someday whenever the purpose is served we get removed from this file system, the universe. It might seem cruel from some aspect but that’s the truth we delete files which we don’t need to free up space so that we save newer files in the coming days. This keeps our population in balance and stops the Earth from getting overcrowded. Beings with its purpose served, ages with time and dies out slowly and the newer generation takes its place. You might ask “what about those who die suddenly, an accident, or get killed or some disease, apart from aging?”. Well in that case we delete files accidently in our computer. May be the file had served it’s purpose or not, that’s another point. If the purpose is served then good or else we replace it with a similar file or may be recover it back from the dead. You might be thinking now “well atleast we can’t recover the dead in reality”. Sure, you are right but we sometimes see people recovering from coma. Sometime the person fully recovers sometimes half of him, other half is paralysed or not functional at all. The same happens with our hard disk recovery systems. Not all files can be recovered, some recently deleted can be recovered, sometimes very old file can be too, but those are exceptional cases. Most of the time no matter how much advanced recovery system you use there is 50% chance of recovering each and every file back from the dead. Even if it is recovered it might not be readable.
What happens to a file when it’s deleted ? Where does it go? Nothing is actually deleted honestly. There is a map in our system which tells the operating system to look for various files in specific places. We just delete the file reference from the map and also provide the operating system with a permission to overwrite the file. Scientists like Newton and Einstein has always agreed that “Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can be transformed from one form to another”, so does the file system in our hard disk, after all it works on energy, electrical energy. Nothing gets wasted or unused, everything is recycled and reused, so do we. We don’t die and vanish in the space. We just get our references removed from the file system of the universe. Just like deleted files we exist too just that the other beings in the universe doesn’t know where to look for us when we die. Transformed into some other form of energy not recognizable in our vision. That’s nature’s way of deleting things. We are also made of energy and are replaced or rather transformed into something else with an all new purpose. You might think this in different way like afterlife, ghosts, spirits, souls wandering around or may be going to heaven or hell, but if you see closely, it’s said we all have souls and the body is a mere mechanism, a machine. People die and it’s said that the soul leaves the body and moves to some distant place like heaven or hell or maybe it gets trapped here on Earth wandering in places it has been to before death as a living being. We don’t know what’s the actual fact, but the possibility of that soul to get reused in other form or in other body is a very distinct possibility just like the files in computer getting overwritten. May be our memories are overwritten and that’s why we don’t remember our past life from our previous birth. Re-incarnation, that the word we use for it.
Do you think our memories from the past births gets wiped off? No I believe, “wiped off” is not word, “overwritten” it is. Does that mean if we try some how, can we recover or at least make out from the impressions in our mind what we were in our previous births? Let’s take a piece of paper and let’s write something on it and then let’s overwrite it with something else. If we look very close we can understand what we wrote previously. Even if you can not make out the whole thing but at least you know that there was something else written before you overwrote it. Trying showing the paper to some friends and ask them what’s written and see if they can make out what you wrote previously before overwriting it. Well my guess is they will understand what was previously written, of course you must have overwritten it by putting some extra pressure on the pen, making it bolder than the previous writing. What if you keep on overwriting multiple times, each time making it bolder than last one or may be using a different color pen. Now after overwriting for 5-6 times is it possible for you or your friends to make out what you had initially written, the first time? It gets tough doesn’t it? Multiple strokes of your pen on that same word written on that same paper makes it pretty complex. So is our memories from our past life. Sometimes you can make out a part of it but it doesn’t make any sense. So is our dreams and visions in the subconscious mind. A sudden image, color, or face comes up in our dream or subconscious vision and it doesn’t make any sense. Our memories of this life is written in so bold that we lose focus on what’s written beneath that. Probably people who meditate for long and clear out their mind, focus on a specific stroke of pen and follow it minutely with deep concentration and patience may be they can have a glimpse of their past life. Those sudden visions (strokes of pen) is the clue or hint, we will need to concentrate on that vision and follow its impression, just as the stroke has left. Following it minutely with deep concentration you can get a part of the vision which probably makes some sense, like you follow the stroke of the pen and slowly you are able to make out a meaningful word.
So that’s universe, like a hard drive with us like files in it with specific purpose to serve and our memories overwritten every time so that we start fresh with new and different purpose. May be the explanation is too much to believe but again, as I said before, it’s a thought, an imaginative thought. May be our universe is a part of a much bigger complex system like computer, may be not, but if so then what? Are we really so minute and small because we are part of some bigger complex system or machinery? Is this universe more like molecule of some element, which is a part of some bigger universe rather some bigger machine or may be a bigger living creature? An universe within an universe?
