I am sure you have heard of the term paranormal. If you are not aware then let me explain it to you in brief. There are three ways in which we describe the various things we see in the world, they are Normal, Abnormal and Paranormal.
Normal, as you know, what we regularly see around, something that does not raise a doubt or question in our mind. Something that works just the way it should according to our knowledge, is normal for us. E.g A printer prints your documents on paper you provide.
Abnormal, it’s more like something that malfunctions and we generally know why is it not working the way we thought it should, we call it abnormal. When an anomaly is explainable scientifically it can be termed as abnormal behavior.
E.g. A printer doesn’t print your documents as expected or doesn’t print at all, you know something is definitely wrong with your printer cartridge or may be some other technical issue with the printer.
Paranormal, is something which is not explainable by science yet. A particular anomaly or behavior of an object which is not working in a way it’s supposed to.
An anomaly which might have some scientific explanation but not yet discovered by us, for us it might be spooky or magic. Just like in the prehistoric times when man did not know much about fire, they did not know how to light a fire and then they suddenly saw a forest fire or may be a sudden friction with some stone tools lead man to light a fire for the first time. Think how amazing it would be for that first ever man to light a fire. He must have thought himself to be a wizard. For that particular instance the man did not know the science behind lighting up a fire. It was something paranormal for him at that very moment but slowly as time went by man became more knowledgeable, he discovered the science behind this and thus lighting up a cigar is a very normal thing today.
E.g. So next time if you ever find your printer printing some more information than given by you may be like a forecast for your next day. You may call it paranormal activity.
